Data Protection Statement for IMTAL EUROPE

 

IMTAL EUROPE takes the private nature of your information very seriously. In this statement, IMTAL EUROPE explains what personal information of its members IMTAL EUROPE keeps and for what purposes. IMTAL EUROPE also explains how members can review and adjust this personal information. This statement follows the requirements of the EU General Information Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

  1. IMTAL EUROPE is a charitable association, governed by Swedish law. Our contact details are IMTAL EUROPE, c/o Foteviken Museum, Museivägen 29, 236 91 Höllviken, Sweden.

  2. IMTAL EUROPE manages the following information: 

    a. All members:

    • Full name, affiliation to an organisation and postal address
    • Date of membership
    • Description of each member’s relevant experience and activities for their public profile, provided by each member upon registration
    • ID photo and, where available, a few pictures of his/her activities as far as relevant to IMTAL EUROPE, also made available by the member themselves. 
    • Mention whether they are individual or institutional IMTAL EUROPE member
    • Status of payment of their annual membership fees
    • The URLs of their institutional organisations or companies and their social media profiles

    b. Institutional Members:

    • Institutional / visiting address
    • programme information, opening season and entrance fees of institutional member (where applicable) 

     

  3. This data is processed for the following purposes: 

    1. Full name, profile information, ID photo, services offered, time eras or special skills, any additional photos the IMTAL EUROPE member made available are published on the IMTAL EUROPE website, open access, as Member Profile.
    2. Not part of the Member Profile for individual IMTAL EUROPE members are their respective addresses.  
    3. Part of the online Member Profile of institutional IMTAL EUROPE members, are their visiting address, possibly aided by GPS data and their global annual number of visitors. 
    4. Not part of any IMTAL EUROPE Members Profile is their status of payment.
       

    For our financial administration, IMTAL EUROPE processes the following personal information: Name and country, what financial type of member they are, the status of their payment, payment method, amount and date of payment

     

  4. Personal information of IMTAL EUROPE members is shared with the following third parties: 

    1. We share first and last names of our members with the accountancy department of Fotevikens Museum (Sweden) for accounting purposes, i.e. making our annual financial reports. 
    2. We share first and last names as well as postal addresses with the Editor of our members’ magazine “Insights” (Ingo Glückler in Austria) to make address stickers for sending regular mailings to our members. 
    3. We share email addresses with Mailchimp (US) in order to send occasional Newsletters.

       

  5. Personal information is not stored outside the EU. 

  6. IMTAL EUROPE members have the right to view their own personal information and modify these. Public profiles can be altered by members themselves. Should login data for alterations on the website be required, these will be supplied by the webmaster at Fotevikens Museum, Sweden. Contact imtal@foteviken.se.

  7. Personal information of current IMTAL EUROPE members are stored as long as these people remain member or are contact person of an institutional IMTAL EUROPE member. Two years after a membership ends or after somebody stops to be a contact person of an institutional IMTAL EUROPE member, the personal information will be deleted from the IMTAL EUROPE systems.

  8. IMTAL EUROPE is governed by Swedish Law. Every person from who IMTAL EUROPE keeps personal information has the right to file a complaint at the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

 

Registrations for IMTAL EUROPE activities

IMTAL EUROPE is host or co-host of several activities, including international conferences and workshops, hereafter referred to as “IMTAL EUROPE activities”. People registering for these activities are hereafter called “delegates”. 

  1. IMTAL EUROPE manages the following information of delegates: 

    1. Full name, affiliation to an organization, phone number, email and postal address
    2. Travel information: arrival at and leaving from what airport and what date
    3. The programme components of the IMTAL EUROPE activity the delegate takes part in
    4. Remarks by the delegate about him/herself and his/her partner or children, if they attend the activity as well, needed for handling their preferences, including diet requirements 

       

  2. Delegates have the option to opt-in to have this information shared with other participants of the same IMTAL EUROPE activity; also, delegates have the option to opt-in to be addressed by IMTAL EUROPE for future IMTAL EUROPE activities.

  3. Personal information of delegates is processed for the following purposes: 
    Maintain an overview if the delegates paid their registration fees. 
    Sharing with co-organisers of the IMTAL EUROPE activity in order to book enough seats, meals et cetera

  4. Personal information is not stored outside the EU. 
  5. Delegates have the right to view their own personal information and modify these. 
  6. Personal information of delegates is stored until two years after the IMTAL EUROPE activity. 
  7. IMTAL EUROPE is governed by Swedish Law. Every person from who IMTAL EUROPE keeps personal information has the right to file a complaint at the Swedish Data Protection Authority

 

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc.
