Zöldi-Birkás, Éva
Hungary
I worked for 20 years in the Museum of Fine Arts Budapest, Hungary at the Department of Classical Antiquities as a museum educator. Since 2021 I work in Szent István Király Múzeum, Székesfehérvár. I'm the Head of Department of Museum Education and Communication. I am a drama teacher (trained by the Hungarian Drama and Theatre in Education Association in 2004) and a Certified Live Interpreter (a qualification given by Interpret Europe that can be achieved by completing a course run by Past Pleasure Ltd., UK or recently by Mark Wallis).
During my work in the Museum of Fine Arts I developed live interpretation sessions, assembled and prepared research material for the interpreters and trained them. We did first person interpretation, usually based on ancient Greek and Roman characters. On special occasions we performed characters also from other periods.(ancient Egypt, Renaissance, XVII. century Netherlands).

Museum-Theater-Events
Pfenninger, Angela
Germany
My name is Angela Pfenninger, I live in the South-West of Germany and am a historical interpreter. I offer concepts, scripting or scenario draft, as well as actual performance of museum theatre.
This can be delivered first or third person, costumed and non-costumed to professional standard in German and English. My focus is on interactive formats that involve the audience (second person interpretation), and I also use methods of biographical theatre. The most unusual work I did was probably for art galleries, and wrtiting a museum comic book. On behalf of the Rhineland-Palatinate Museums Association, I also teach short courses on live interpretation, together with a specialist on historical dance & movement and a costume historian.

Storholmen Archeological Open Air Museum in Roslagen, Sweden.
Storholmen Viking Village is an Archeological Open Air Museum. It is run by a foundation and has a non-profit support association. The purpose of the museum is to reanimate history, and in a tangible way, give people of different age and backgrounds an exciting insight into the Viking Age by ecouraging them to take part in activities that demonstrate how everyday life was led in the Viking Age, like trying ancient handicraft first-hand. The focus is on the home life of the Vikings.
The staff is dressed in authentic clothing, providing living history experiences for scool children, guided tours and events for groups, and living history aimed at tourists and other visitors during summer.
Surroundings and location
Storholmen Viking Village lies just by the lake Erken, next to the museum is an Iron Age Burial ground and Nature Preserve.

Tertius Pictor
Hochbruck, Jan
Germany
My portrayal is that of a Roman painter (around 100 CE, urban). My "home base" is Cologne (where I live) and Xanten (where a painter's workshop was found as well as his tombstone), but I have a tent, a mobile workshop and a gallery – and I like to travel and display the proverbial arts and crafts of a Roman painter. The presentation is targeted at children as well as adults; visitors may prepare their own tempera paint and try their hand at painting. A collection of raw pigments illustrates the process of pigment making. There's also a box with encaustic paint which is shown together with its tools and paintings.
Aside from this life presentation I offer design consulting as well as paintings "to order", both for Museum Parks like the APX in Xanten and for Living History Groups/Individuals. Feel free to contact me for advice, opinion and help.
